Bettie Beschuht und Luc LeDuc sind ORDNUNGSAMT


ORDNUNGSAMT is the avant-retro garage-rock duet from Berlin-Moabit. 
  Founded in 2007, split up in 2007, reunited in 2007. First CD EP Geranium Germanicum came out in January 2008. ORDNUNGSAMT then played two shows in Berlin, two shows in the former DDR and two in San Francisco.
In 2009 a lot more concerts followed in Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Belgium and the US of A.

ORDNUNGSAMT split-up and reunited again, then released first album Permission Per Du in November 2009.
ORDNUNGSAMT are working on new songs, probably will split-up and reunite again to release a new album in 2010.

ACHTUNG: the lyrics are 80% German!
BUT: since (as some say) the English language belongs to the Anglo-Frisian sub-group of the West Germanic branch of Indo-European languages, one senses that they are appropriate and a catchy match to the array of bouncy pieces of rather anglo-typic descent. They do stick, even to the linguistically uninitiated ear, like sourkraut to a New Yorker hot-dog. And the kraut-dog quickly morphs into a feast of transnational flavors.
